Welcome!

We are the Barnes Trust-T Morgan Horses of Idaho family, located in Southeast Idaho, close to the Teton Mountains, Yellowstone Park and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The area has lots of open country and trails to ride. Come visit us and look at what our breeding program has to offer and enjoy a great vacation along with it.

We are raising good, sound, Trust-T Morgan Horses that are from the Foundation blood lines. These Morgans can be used for any activity whether trail, pleasure, or show; because of their versatility and disposition. We have been raising horses for 15 years, but joined the Morgan family in 2005. We were out of the horse business for 10 years but decided we needed some good “kids horses” to ride. We started looking for horses that you could trust and respect, and we knew that horses can only be trusted as far as you learn to give them respect.

We came across an older Morgan mare, fell in love and couldn't stop looking into Morgans. While looking across many Morgan web sites and visiting a lot of farms, we decided that we enjoyed how friendly the disposition of the Morgan horse is that we wanted to raise Morgan horses of our own. We purchased Morgans horses from some of the best farms around including Idaho, Montana, Utah, California and South Dakota. Our farm has some really good Morgans that our kids and your family can learn to trust and grow up with.

We like the colorful Morgans but have made sure we maintain the good quality disposition we have looked for in the Morgans.  We have sent most all of our foals we have raised to three different trainers and have received many compliments on how responsive and easy our horses were to work with and how quickly they learn.  We have enjoyed two dunskin fillies, two buckskin colts, a dark buckskin filly, a black and a palomino colt, along with a bay/dun and bay colt.  Check out the horses we have and let us know what you think.

Please enjoy this site and email us if you have any questions. Who knows, someday we may cross paths on the trail or at the show.
Our family just keeps growing!

We have four daughters married, and two grandsons with another grandson due in January 2011.
